SC Trip--Day 7/ Part 2--80's Skate Night

Our last night together was spent at the skating rink. Since skating seems so retro, we decided to dress in 80's attire to make the most our adventure. It was funny, because Emry kept complaining, saying she didn't have anything 80's to wear. With that said, we told her we would come to her house and help her find something...Holy Cow!!!! Did we find the jackpot in her closet!!!! Almost everything she owned was 80's! All of us ended up using her clothes for our outfits. We just had to give her a lesson on how to mix-n-match her stuff to get the right look. The bigger the hair the better!

A bow, with lots of colored make-up gives just the right touch. ;)

Our group stampeded the place...

This is where Parris and Emry spent most of the night.

I can tell they were not brought up in the 80's, because being able to skate was a requirement back then! LOL

Emry's BIG hair got too hot, so she eventually had to pin it up.

Jared was trying to be a little 80's rocker, stud muffin. He succeeded.

Isabel and Amber got some help...

I didn't need help, though. I'm a professional! =)

Lizzy's best friend from school came: Pam Moon Baker.

We had took a breather while they had some competitions.

Of course, we had to do some cheering too.

The boys raced...look at Papa beating Ethen! Whoop! Whoop!

Then we had scooter races...

Oh, gracious!!!....Come on, Mary, bend down!!!

(As you guessed it...Mary and I didn't do so well.)

Then there were foot races...

Rocco dogged his older brother out...aww! LOL

Then we did some line dancing...

...two hops this time...mmm....mmm....slide to the right...
