Gabriel ended his football season in style. During the first few plays of his last game, Gabriel rolled out on a missed tackle and received two hairline fractures in his wrist. The doctors excluded a cast and issued him a splint and motrin. He'll be better in a few weeks. All I have to say is..."I'm so glad football is OVER!!!"
UPDATE: After Gabriel saw the orthopedic, he got a cast after all. :( His first signatures on it were from his family. Me: "Way to give it your ALL!" Dad: "Next time make the tackle." Brandon: "Ha.Ha. You're a cripple!" (with a drawing of a wheelchair) Yes, his family is ruthless.

Oh no! At least he waited until the last game so he doesn't miss any. Smart thinking Gabriel! =)
After what we talked about yesterday, sounds like this will be a sports experience to remember!

Wow you sound like you having fun. Gabriel is lucky he didn't break it worse. Were good we don't need anything, if all goes well I should feel a 50% decrease in pain the next day. Tomorrow I will be down and hopefully up and moving around on Tuesday. So I hope all goes well.
Get better soon Gabriel! And good luck to you Marina...boys don't make for very good patients but I'm sure you already knew that!
That sucks. All I have to say is like the Dr. really needed to issue y'all Motrin. I know Frankie has a cabnit stash full of that stuff
