Furniture Trade

5 May 2011

Well, since Frankie moved out of the house, I gave Gabriel the option of taking his room if he wanted it. Surprisingly, he refused it. He thought it would be too much of a hassle to move all of his stuff. Therefore, I told Noah he could have it instead. Noah immediately said he wanted a Gamecock room. He was pretty thrilled to have his own room!!! Can you tell? Plus, a BIG bed! IIIIII was thrilled that the room is now going to be clean! Frankie is now Michelle's problem. ;) LOL! I know Noah will do a better job of keeping it tidy. Noah had been sharing a room with Kela. However, now that Noah was out of the room, I could turn Kela's bed into something more girly (instead of the neutral colors that I had). She seems to like it. Well, who am I kidding. She doesn't really care, but I like it. Does that count? (It's funny, though, because Noah still crawls back into the top bunk every couple of days. I think he misses having his roommate after all. ;) hahaha!) I gave Frankie my front living room furniture, so I'm having to do some rearranging. I put my other living room furniture in its place. However, I haven't chosen anything to replace our family room set (so I had to move it back until I do). As a matter of fact, my hubby decided to take me shopping to find something on our anniversary, but I got so stressed about it that I told him that I had to leave. I was about to have a breakdown. I told him I'd rather go out to eat than have to make a decision. We grabbed Kela and Noah and ate at the Geisha House (yum!). However, we tried to go to another store after we ate. Luckily, Kela started feeling sick, so I rushed her home just in time for her to explode with vomit into my kitchen sink!!!! Yeah, Kela...I know exactly how you feel. Furniture shopping makes me feel the same way. Ugghhh...it's just that I know it's a big commitment, like 10 years worth of commitment, and I want to get something that will make me happy, not just settle so I can sit down. Ughh....in due time I will find what's right for me.

However, I did find THIS table that I love! (Yes, I gave Frankie my kitchen table too.) I got a great bargain on it, and am very happy!!!! It's a marble top, counter height table that seats eight...just perfect for me! Yay! I think it's beautiful. Now that makes me smile! ;)

I'm the same way. Big decisions like that make me wanna puke too but your house still looks gorgeous! Love that table.

Noah, definitely loves his new room. Kela's comforters a super cute. I actually like the leather furniture in the front room better. It seems to fit better. Good luck finding something to replace it. Lastly, I LOVE your new table. You can't go wrong with the bar height tables, and its marble top....SCORE!

Tell Frankie he owes you big time for giving all that furniture over.
