Kela Got Her Hair Done

Well, New Year's Day I decided to straighten Kela's hair. Let me just say that she does NOT like to have that done!!! (She doesn't like me blow drying it either!) So, this might be a one time thing. ;) Hahaha! Thus, I had to take pictures...After we made a fuss over her, though, I think she felt a little glamorous! =) We had to make a big deal about it!

She got excited when I told her I was going to take her to McDonald's for a reward..and she was the only one allowed to ride with me to go pick up the food. =) The first thing she searched for was her prize. Doesn't she look so serious? LOL

I remember back in the day when she went into true power trips when I tried to bathe her. Literally, she would run and tuck herself under her bed when she heard the water run, and when I tried to pull her out she would fight me tooth and nail. Then, I could hardly hold her down in the tub, because she was intensely bucking, screaming, and acting like an angry bull on meth. Not to mention, she would turn blue from lack of oxygen from the trauma it threw her into...wow! Those were the days! I'm so glad my girl has made some improvements. Who knows...one day she might actually like to have her hair done--just like she loves to get clean in the bath now. (fingers crossed) I'm gonna have to step up my game!!!! =)
