Well, Easter is really tricky for me. Considering that we are away from our large family in SC that has a BLAST on Easter, we try to make do with what we have. There is so much fun going on there that it's hard to compete while being away. Honestly, there's really no contest! I know that my kids are missing out, but sometimes you just can't have everything you want, and just have to improvise.
First off...Ummm...I did not realize that Noah had never dyed eggs before. I don't know how I overlooked that activity with him, because I know all my older ones used to do it regulary, but somehow I neglected my youngest. As a seven year old, he had never had the priviledge of dying an egg....sooooo..... we woke up early Sunday morning and let him have his first experience with it!!!
He had a lot of fun, and thought it was really cool!
(Well, of course he would!) And, when Gabriel jumped out of the shower, he joined in too.
Noone else cared to do it...that's really not a surprise!

THEN...
Everyone lined up to hunt Easter eggs in the house and to try to find their baskets. Of course, I let Noah and Kela get a head start. Get on your mark; get set; GO!!!!
Kela had a little help from her Dad...she did great! She even beat Noah!!!

Sounds like a fun Easter! We didn't even dye eggs this year, isn't that terrible? P.S. Does Gabriel own a shirt? It seems all the pics of him are shirtless....
