Gabriel's team entered a football tournament on Thanksgiving Day. There were teams that traveled all over to compete (South Dakota, Florida, Utah, California, etc.)
Gabriel's team got selected to play the Steelers from California. They came in with a record of 8-1, while our record was 9-0. This team looked a lot bigger than our boys, so our guys started playing with reservations. You could tell they were hesitating. However, they realized they could hang with them anyway, and ended up bringing it to them hard in the end. This team has definitely been our steepest competition. However, we finally ended up winning 27-20. Whewww!!! It was a close one!
Gabriel was one of the captains, of course. =)

Kela and I enjoyed watching the game. I really used my voice on this one!!! I was screaming like crazy!
Evelyn and Gene were so glad they got to see one of Gabriel's games in person. He did so well. His best plays were that he sacked the quarterback on a fourth and goal, which prevented a touchdown, and he also blocked a kick. He did great!!!
I'm always so proud of him!
