Well, Gabriel sat out of football for a couple of weeks because of his grades, but was asked by the coach to come back last week, since they were playing the toughest team in the league. We decided to let him, because Gabriel had been improving in school. They ended up beating the team 12-6. WooHoo!!!! This was a big accomplishment, considering Gabriel's team just lost their defensive coach, and had started a whole new set of plays with their new coach. The boys were confused and all over the place. They were not unified as before. Had we had Coach Tyson, I'm sure they would have won even bigger.
This past Saturday, Gabriel helped his team win by 42 points. I didn't get up and take photos of the action, and wish I did because he had some GREAT single tackles! He even sent one player out of the game, injuring him.
I did, however, get his Daddy giving him some pointers at half time:
