Christmas Morning

My camera is on the brink of self-destructing. On Christmas morning, it was not keeping a charge. I had to use Frankie's phone to get shots. It's not the best quality, but at least it's something. Hence the reason why there's not many photos.

The kids weren't anxious to get up. They started trickling out of the bed around 9:00 am. I fixed them a Cream of Wheat breakfast, and then we started with our gathering. We allowed Noah to be in charge of gift giving. He handed out presents in the order of his choosing. He loved that! He let everyone open stuff one at a time. He used a rotation method. He gave everyone one-on-one attention too. It was so cute.
However, Gabriel started to get concerned, though, because Noah started skipping over him a couple times. He started to protest a bit...quite funny! Gabriel and Brandon's favorite part of Christmas morning is looking inside of their stockings. (That might have something to do with the fact that that's where their money is stashed.)
Kela was hesitant at the beginning, but then started to realize that if she tore open the paper, she had something cool inside. She started telling Noah, "My turn." Dad had to help with some assemblying.
Speaking of assemblying, my hubby couldn't install our new Emeril dishes and rack. Thanks, Rex, for coming to our rescue. It turned out great! Frank was a little disappointed that I didn't cook on them for our Christmas meal, but they looked so pretty, I didn't want to mess them up. LOL.
Frankie was excited about his ukelele (a little different twist to the guitar). He's got to do a little research on how to play it, though.

I would love to claim that I made this cake, however, I bought it at Texas Station. After going bowling on Christmas Eve with our friends visiting from SC (Rosmus), I passed by this perfection and had to grab it. Doesn't it look GOOD! Very tasty! Yum!!! We ate at the Bishop's house that evening and I tried to convince them to keep it, but they wouldn't, so we got to splurge with it on Christmas Day. Sorry, y'all missed out!!!

I think it is too cute Noah hands out all the gifts and gives everyone attention while they open it.

I absolutly love the pots and the pot rack! So awesome!! I've always wanted one when I get a home so that when I need a pan, all I have to do is reach up instead of dig around in a cabinet or a drawer.
