Our Relief Society wanted baby blankets tied to give out to newborns when they are born into our ward. I volunteered our family to participate in making them. We did this for FHE on Monday night.
Noah said he had to make a Gamecock one...very cute!
Gabriel made brownies since he couldn't tie very well with his cast. You see, we devoured them! YUM!!
Brandon loved the way his turned out. He actually helped make another Gamecok one (garnet and white), because he was happy with the work. Adorable!
My hubby worked really hard on his, even though he didn't like the colors. What does he know? He's color blind. :)
Here's one of the one's that I did.

All in all, our family made a total of 10 blankets...not too shabby!
I'm so happy that my boys don't mind giving of themselves. :) Doesn't that just make your heart warm?

E-mail me at lvwyattfamily@cox.net and I will add you to our blog. I love the blankets. Do you guys need anymore done?
So sweet. I love the colors that y'all picked out.
That's great that y'all spent your FHE doing that. Its kind of funny too because my mother-in-law gave me a blanket like that a few years ago and I love it! Its so warm. When Chloe was down here, she was using it all the time and wanted to keep it so I decided to make blankets like that for all of my nieces this year for Christmas. It's not too expensive and its something I can do while recovering in bed.
Your boys give of themselves because that is what they have learned at their Mama's knee! What gorgeous young men they are and what great examples of service you are to all of us!!!
Hey will you email me your email address? I am picukids@yahoo.com I want to send you something...
You've raised a wonderful set of boys. I've always loved those blankets. They are so simple to make. I was actually just thinking about making one for each of my kids yesterday. I guess this means I am going to have to make some nwo
Good job Wolfe family!!!!! Those babies will love those nice warm blankets!!!!
This is where a blog is cool, would you really have taken pics of this before now? That hit on Frank's color blind was hillarious!
What a great idea for FHE and for a service project! Your family is just so great!
