I finished cleaning out Frankie's room today. It was a chore because he left so much stuff. I filled a HUGE landscaping bag full of clothes to donate (this was after Gabriel and Brandon grabbed what they wanted and after I kept quite a bit for when Frankie visits.) Frankie is worse than a girl, I swear. He loves clothes more than I do. Well, close. His room looks very empty. The only thing you see left of him are two guitars. He wanted those here when he comes home, on occasion. The other two, he took with him. I'm starting my journey to become an empty nester. ;(

Frankie got a blessing from his dad before he left. I wish I would have recorded it. Our patriarch said we could do that with Father's Blessings. I wasn't that quick on my feet, though, since it was 3 AM in the morning. (The reason Dad is in his suit, at this time, was because he had just rushed home from chauffering to see him off.)
Our last hugs for a while.
Frankie getting into his car. (Notice the rain. That ONLY happens when someone is visiting from SC, I swear! It happened to be Caleb this time...It's so bizarre.)

Man you don't waste anytime after kicking your boy out do you.
Sorry, I don't have time to read the rest of the entries. It took me to long to do my post. But I wanted to stop by and say hi. I'll try to get back on in a couple of days
Aww, I bet you were crying like a baby. BTW, the boys said Frankie was their new brother. He said that would be fine. Too sweet. However, we're trying to teach him to curb some of his comments for little ears. He'll be a roll model I hope.
Can't believe Frankie's in college. Crazy!
As for the paint color in my bathroom: it's "New Bamboo" by Easy Living. The back of the card also says 'Ty Pennington Style'. Whatever that means. I found it at Sears in Charlotte, & the guy at the Benjamin Moore paint store color-matched it. I'm really happy with the way it turned out!
Maybe your SC family and friends need to visit more often so we can have rain more then just a couple times a year!
i love his bed set. it'll be nice for Frankie to get to see our ward building. I take it he'll be going to single's ward. (my dad is the branch president)
I am so sad for you. I remember when we met you and he was just a little kid. I can't believe time goes by so fast.
Wow, best of luck with the empty nester roadway. It has got to be quite a change having your oldest be off on his own. Good luck, Frankie!!
