"Out of the mouth of babes" we learn so much. At least, that's what I have found to be the case in many circumstances. In interviewing my kids, it has been no different. Their revealing answers to questions speak deep truth to reality, when often times we, as adults, can't see it.
I have taken the opportunity to interview my kids on a couple of occasions. The first written one was done with Frankie and Brandon when they were much younger. I'm trying to find them so I can post their remarkable responses. However, in the meantime, I have conducted another one, including Gabriel and Noah as well. Oh goodness Marina! That was a riot! You gotta love kids...and crazy how you can tell the kids' age differences in their answers. Little Noah is still so sweet and innocent with his answers, but that Frankie...definately a teenager! I loved that you did this. It can give you such a good idea of how they view you. Scary right?! I love it. I might have to try this out with Matt and I since Belle can't talk yet-HA!
I have an assignment for you since you wanted to help us out...come visit us if you are ever in Utah (the Salt Lake area)! Scott would be so thrilled to see your boys that he has grown quite fond of and I am sure I could tolerate your company as well!
Love you guys!
that was so fun Marina!!!! I love how all Noah thinks about is playing games. Your kids are great.
So funny! My favorite responses were from Noah! :)
That is a really good idea. I'm going to have to do that when my kids get a little older. Although, I'm a little scared of what they might say.
I thought your kids hit y'all up pretty good. Some funny with some sarcasm.
That is hilarious, Marina! I especially LOVED Noah's answers. I should do this...maybe...
I loved this!! Too funny!
Noah is obviously obsessed w/games...he gets that from his uncle! Frankie definately needs to take a chill pill! I hope big Frank hasn't read these, those boys don't know how sweet he his.
I love the difference between rice and rice WITH beans...too funny!
How cute was that! How great that you have it recorded for always. I want to do that with my kids, but I might need to wait a little bit longer.
Hooray that the invitation finally worked! I sent it out about five times this morning in a desperate last-ditch effort.
omg so i just read this and i thought it was hilarious, i forgot we ever did this, our family is toooo funny, and i love frankie's answer when you asked how dad makes him laugh "when he takes his shirt off" HAHAHAHHAHA WOW!
