Manriquez & the Circus Circus

The adults had splurged enough, so Saturday was LITTLE kids day. I only had Noah because Brandon and Gabriel left for scout camp (which, BTW, when I woke up at 5 am to get the boys off and help them move kids from cots, to my surprise Brandon had already done it. I was proud that he had been so responsible. He didn't even wake us, just did what he had to do and left. I was very pleased with his dependability and independence.), Frankie was uninterested (not really a little kid), and Kela would have been uncooperative so she was left at home with her Dad who was trying to get a nap in before he had to chauffer. We went to the Circus Circus which has "fair" type games. Noah racked up on prizes. We also watched a small acrobatic show. Noah loved this. Next, we hiked up the road in the HOT, HOT sun. We had to go to the Nascar store. Noah posed with his Dad's favorite car: Tony Stewart.

The kids were exhausted and relaxed against a peace mobile. We hiked back to the Circus Circus and got some ice cream. Noah was nice enough to give me a thank you hug. Valet was a little slow. However, the kids were trying to be patient. They were ready to go home to get cooled off and play their DS games. I decided to take them with me and let Carla and Jason have a date night alone. We hung out and watched a movie. Nice calm evening, with a few spats here and there.

Oh my, I feel hot all over again just looking at those pictures. We had fun at Circus Circus though. Thank you Noah for sharing your stuffed animals.
