Noah was awakened and surprised to see his Daddy. He had already fallen asleep for the night because he had waited so long. Dad was supposed to arrive at 8:30 AM Friday, but he missed his flight and didn't arrive until 9:30 PM. Consequently, Noah had given up. However, he sure was excited when he heard his Daddy's voice that woke him!

The first outing of the family was taken Saturday afternoon. We all went bowling. There was a lot of smack talk between Frankie and his dad. Frankie had bowled a 206 and a 191 while his dad was away, so he was soooo looking forward to taking his dad down.
Dad explained to Frankie that he scored those high scores while he was gone because he didn't have the pressure of him all up in his face. Sooooooo....the heat began!
Frankie lost. (This is his Dad rubbing it in his face.) Dad beat him 3 out 4 games. The one that Dad lost was the first game. He was on the lane with the babies and said his concentration was off. So, he switched lanes and got serious! Also, Brandon enjoyed the whole thing. He actually beat Frankie a couple of times too. They went away even.

The afternoon was filled with ups and downs. The pics to the left are reflections of closed frames and the pics to the right are the disappointing open frames:

I pretty much stink all the time so notice I'm not disappointed.

Furthermore, everything is definitely back to normal. (All the competitive testosterone and picking ;0) )
Don't mistake the smile on Frankie's face (below) for happiness. He was sarcasticly posing for me. He was actually in the middle of complaining about his loss. I told him to be quiet for the pic. He literally made that quick look (3 sec tops!) and went back to fussing. Actually, it was quite sad for him. When his dad switched lanes and got serious, their initial game was pretty heated. They were pretty much tied going into the 10th frame. Frankie cracked! He rolled a gutter and then a 3. He NEVER does that. (His dad was definitely in his head--just like he was warned would happen.) It about killed him. The final score: 182 to 179. Unfortunately, after that, Frankie went down hill. Even Gabriel beat him the last game...very sad!

P.S. Monday, 26 May 2008, Memorial Day, Frankie had to redeem himself. He challenged his dad to a rematch and he walked away victorious. He won 2 out of the three games. This made him feel stupendous! He told me I needed to update my blog ASAP! He didn't like the idea of being a loser on here. However, Brandon really deserves the most kudos because he scored the high game of the day: 193. He was pretty stoked because that's the best he'd ever done. It's amazing what rivalry will help you achieve.

I'm glad that your family is ALL back together!!!!!
I'm glad that Frankie finally did make it home. I was thinking he wasn't going to get home till next week. The bowling seems like it was a very intense night. I can just picture how it all went right now.
what a fun activity and fun to have your hubby finally home.
Sounds like a fun day! I stink at bowling too.
Yeah, I am so glad you guys have a blog. Now I can keep track of you!
So glad your hubby is home. Looks like he was missed!
The pics are great. Really shows how much fun your family had together. Isn't it funny how competitive guys can be? And now you've got your husband back -- hooray!
Cute blog! I didn't even realize Frank had been gone for THAT LONG!!! So sorry I didn't offer some help. I just LOVE your family! Reading about your bowling outings and seeing those pictures actually makes me EXCITED to have teenage boys! Never thought I'd say that. Really, your kids are unreal.
That picture of Noah with his dad is priceless. He wasn't happy to have his dad home or anything, was he? Ha ha ha!

Love, Mom and Grandma
I want to let you know that I really like your slide show of you and Frank. I didn't know you had so many pics of you 2 together. Also, you are the only one who actually keeps up with this blog thing. I'm glad somebody does
And way to go Frankie for Redeeming yourself. And Brandon does get the most Kudos b/c he got the high score
Yeah, I've only bowled less than 200 once in my life and that was a total fluke!
Isn't it great to have all your boys together?! They looked like they were having fun. (Even though some pretended not to when they weren't winning...)
