Papa & Nanny Visit

6-13 July 2011

Wednesday night they arrive!

Thursday night we went bowling [Frankie walked away the winner. ;)]

Friday afternoon Papa and Nanny took Noah to the Stratosphere and bought him a hat (their rental charge for taking his room...lol) and a remote control helicopter (just because). Friday night Papa and Nanny took Frankie and Michelle out to eat.

Saturday we had our all day hike of Mt. Charleston.

Sunday we went to church and then had an Ultimate Stratego competition. The boys had to teach Michelle this vicious game.
Monday morning we did a little socializing...
...and a little wrestling. Gabriel couldn't stop laughing. He challenged Nanny, but couldn't keep his composure during the match. Hahaha! They tried to take him shopping, but he didn't want to get anything.

Monday afternoon Papa and Nanny took Brandon out to eat.

Then they took he and Princess to Freemont Street to see the lights and zipline underneath them. (Notice how my boys are attracted to the Philipina girls...hahaha)
Tuesday we enjoyed the Las Vegas Temple.
I loved being able to do a session with my parents.

I had to beg everyone to take pictures since it was 110 degrees outside! They gave into me only briefly and then headed to the car...

Wednesday they headed to the airport.
Noah didn't want to see them leave.
Our last goodbyes (Gabe was 1/2 asleep on the couch so we gathered around him). Kela kind of missed out on the week since she is in summer school, but Nanny did clean her room for her.

Y'all come again soon...

I'm glad you talked them into taking pics at the temple because they are my favorite! I can't wait to see them when they bring the kids home...

How fun having you parent's visit. I miss my grandparents so much now that they're gone. =(

I got a question. How do you get your collage pics to show up so big. I tried to up load one that I had done, it was a format. And it showed up smaller that normal pics. I was in photoshop and I even resized the picture. I upload my pics in the large format but for some reason the collages come up small. Any hints?

When I photoshop my pics, I crop them to be 8x10 and then "save for web" so that the memory is not as big. Then when I upload, I upload as a large image. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. ???? Good luck!
